Floccinaucinihilipilification

Okay, I’m sure we’ve all come across it once or twice. The word ‘Floccinaucinihilipilification’ is apparently the longest (non-technical) word in the English language (what about ‘floccinaucinihilipilificationary‘?). But what does it actually mean? Well, the 29 letter word (I really can’t be bothered to write it all out again) is a term for ‘the estimation of something’s value of worthless’. For example:

“Gerald! You’ve ruined Mum’s antique vase!” said Bernard.

“Aw, come on; it’s worthless!” replied Gerald. Bernard, ignoring Gerald’s floccinaucinihilipilification, reluctantly told him it was worth £12000. 

As you can see, Gerald’s floccinaucinihilipilification got him into bags of trouble…….I shall leave you now, sitting there by your keyboard, thinking about what the heck I just said.

iPod Touch & iPhone News

Hi everybody! Okay, I’m sure that if you have read the post titled ‘iPod Touch’ down there somewhere, you’ll know that I have an iPod Touch. And for those of you people out there who don’t have iPod Touches I want you to know it’s well worth the £165 pounds I spent on it or 200 & something dollars or however much it is in America. Anyway, what I was going to say was: there has just been a new update for the iPhone (but it’s also available for iPod Touches) which is 6 pounds but it is pretty cool. You can now cut, copy, paste, record stuff on an iPod Touch, and……..err……..stuff. So, go out and splash out on an iPod Touch or iPhone as they are AWESOME! Go on you deserve a treat. Maybe.

Runescape – Money Making Tips

Hi Guys.

Once again I’m sorry for not posting for a while (not that anyone cares).

Anyway, in the last couple of weeks I become interested in Runescape.

Runescape is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game).

• If you have just died, go & pick some potatoes and sell them (Potatoes – 3gp) Total Amount: Small
• Kill loads of cows, cook all the beef, and definitely take the cowhides. Sell them all at the Grand Exchange. Total Amount: Medium but if you do it a couple of times: Big
• Dump all your stuff in the bank except your three most useful items (this is to make sure if you die, you don’t lose anything) then, go to the Barbarian Village (North of Draynor Manor, East of Taverly, West of Varrock, South of Edgeville) in the middle of the village there is a hole. Climb down it. You are now in the Stronghold of Security. Look around and you should see a red door. Go through it. Go up to the 2nd door and answer the security question. Now you are in Level 1. I walked through this with no battles (even though it’s swarming with monsters) at Combat Level 15. For monster details and the safest way through Level 1, click here to go to Runescape Wiki’s page about Stronghold of Security. When you get to the end, you will get 2000 coins. Also, if you have your recovery questions set, you get the “Flap” emote! Total Amount: Quite Big (Really big for beginners!)
• Do the “Pirates Treasure” quest. You will get an uncut emerald, a gold ring and 450 coins. If you sell the emerald & gold ring, you could get somewhere between 740-1200 coins. Total Amount: Big
• Make or steal (stealing is members only) lots of cakes & sell them all at the Grand Exchange. Total Amount: Medium

Mario, Lego Indy & Reckless Driving

Hi guys. Sorry I haven’t posted in like 8 years.  

But I’ve got a lot to tell you! First, I got Lego Indiana Jones on DS for Christmas, & I completed it by Sunday! I’ve 
made a website about the secrets and tips. Find it here at: http://legoindianajonesds.wordpress.com. 2nd, yesterday, I saw a guy in a car, with a horsebox. He took a swerve at a corner & the horsebox was on one wheel! It almost fell over! We don’t think it had a horse  in….luckily. Then the guy’s exhaust pipe fell off! We drove over it by accident. There was this other guy aswell. He kept driving on the pavement and things.

Hi everybody! Haven’t posted for a while. Sorry ’bout that. I’ve been designing my new site (not blog) but it isn’t published yet. Anyways, I am a pokemon fan. I’ve had these games:

St. Briavels Youth Hostel

Hi Guys! For the last couple of days I went to a Youth Hostel with my Mum & Sister. This Youth Hostel was at a place called St Briavels(Br-ai-vels) which was transformed from a castle to a Youth Hostel. St Briavels Castle is located in St Briavels, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England.

We also had a tour. They told us some ghost stories:

1. A cleaner heard a baby crying. She searched everywhere but couldn’t find one. A couple of days later a bit of the castle collapsed and they found a baby skeleton.

2. A cleaner saw a little boy sitting on a bench and she thought it was one of the children from the school which was leaving, so she went to tell them. But they said all of the children were there. She went back and he was gone. Then, a few years later, a Spanish school came. But when they were leaving, one of the boys was very scared and shaky. It was because he said he had seen a ghostly figure where the boy was sitting a couple of years ago.

3. In one of the dormitories, if you sleep in the single (not bunk) bed by the window, sometimes you can hear screaming in the night, but only from that bed!

Disgusting and Paranormal Events

Yesterday (April 10th) I went to  a farm. On the way there I saw the Ghostbusters! Really! There was a truck which said “Brilliant Bliss, Paranormal Events, Phone: 01452 760 798″! That’s GHOSTBUSTERS! Check out the “Brilliant Bliss” Website! Okay, so that’s the “Paranormal Event” part of my title. The “Disgusting Event” part is: When I got to the farm, there was a donkey. It looked at me, beared it’s teeth horribly and spat at me. I HATE THAT DONKEY!                   HE CAN NOT BE SEEN BY PUBLIC ANYMORE!

I’m making a 2 new sites! Happy Easter!

Hi Everybody! I’m making a 2 new sites! The first one is my own version of IMDb (Internet Movie Database, A website about all the   films in the whole world!). My version is called JBsIMDb (Jerome Beckett’s Internet Movie Database). The second one is a cricket fan club! I plan to finish both of them by the 12th of April. Maybe some time before that (It probaly will) but please don’t get cross if it is finished after the 12th. Oh by the way everybody, Happy Easter!    Don’t eat to much choccy or you’ll be sick  or get fat!

1. Club Penguin

                         Club Penguin is a game where you can get your own penguin and talk to other penguins somewhere else in the world. So basicly it’s a multiplayer game where you can walk and talk, play games, take tours complete missions collect money for your penguin (Not real money obviously!) and buy clothes stuff your iglo0, little pets called puffles (All not real obiously!) & much, much more! If it takes ages to log on, try the official website. I find it quicker.

2. Fire Storm 

                        Fire Storm is a game where you are a helicopter and you have to blow up all the enemy helicopters. There are nine levels of fighting and blowing up. At the end of Level 9, there is a boss which is extremly hard. I lost THREE LIVES DOING THAT LEVEL! But in the end I completed the game.

3. Trials 2

Trials 2 In this game are a bike rider and you have to get past all the obsticles to the finish line. If you get to a red flag and you mess up, you go back to the last flag. There is also a better version where you have better and 3D levels. Unfortuantly you have to buy it! I know! Oh Poo! AAAAAAAAAK! I really wanted it!

4. Acid Factory

Acid Factory Help harry escape the horrors of his acid-flooded factory. It is full of Acid blobs, Zombies, and much more. But there’s a way to get rid of these evil thingmys! Just collect the gun, (Not on every level) and just press Z.

5. Base Jumping

                             This game is simple. When it says go press space. But if you do it before it says go, you are disqualified from the race. You are competing against 3 other contestants who are all controlled by the computer. All you have to do is press space to go, do it again to let your parachute go off & first one to hit the ground wins! CAREFUL THOUGH! If you let your parachute off too late when you hit the ground you will explode & lose!

6. Skywire

                   This is one of the best Nitrome games but the 6th best miniclip game. You are one of those coach-on-wire-thingmy-jig-wotsit-thingys. You have to dodge the obstacles (Flying Pandas, Bouncing Rabbits, Stretchy-necked girrafes, Tortises on wheels, Rotating Snakes & Bats that follow you) there are probaly loads more but I don’t know about them because I could only ever get to Level 12.

7. Frost Bite

                     This game is loads of fun but it has extremly akward controls. Sure, you control him with the arrow keys but to shoot the arrow you have to use the mouse. It’s easy at the beginning but when you get to a high level, IT GETS FLIPPING IMPOSSIBLE! IMPOSSIBLEWAY IWAY ELLTAY OUYAY! (That’s Pig Latin for ”Impossible I tell you!”)

Did you know you can make any picture IN THE WORLD off the internet or photos or whatever?! Yeah, you can!

2. Right-click.

3. Click “Set as background”.

What Would A Good Username Be?

I normally use my first name & Surname as a username. Sometimes I use my first name and adjust it a bit. But most people use something they like and plonk a couple of numbers on the end. E.G. cricketfanatic976 (Cricket Fanatic 976) .

If you’re using something like Toontown, Or Nicktropilis or Club Penguin (All Online / Downloadable games with an “interactive you” on there) would you use a different name like, If your name was Daniel Hamperburg would you make your username as Joey Smiths (Name of your charater). This is very confusing.
